China to manufacture helicopter engines

CO-OPERATION China Aviation Industries and Turbomeca are negotiating a deal to jointly manufacture the Arriel 2C engine for the Harbin Aircraft Industry H425, a civil offshoot of the indigenous Z-9 helicopter – a copy of the Eurocopter AS365.
