Will Be Used In Offshore, SAR Operations Sikorsky Aircraft announced Friday CHC Helicopter Corp. has signed a contract for 12 S-92 helicopters. The new helicopters will be used primarily to fulfill offshore transportation requirements in all corners of the world, but may also be used in the commercial Search and Rescue (SAR) role.
