Bovey, Minn., native killed in crash of Iraq helicopters (Grand Forks Herald)

The Pentagon is confirming the death of an Army helicopter pilot from Minnesota who died with three other soldiers in Iraq. The Department of Defense says 35-year-old Chief Warrant Officer Philip E. Windorski Jr. of Bovey died Jan. 26 when two Kiowa Warrior helicopters crashed in Kirkuk.
