Boston GSE Shop will be closing on July 9th. Some of these mechanics will return to aircraft line maintenance or retire, while others will have to find other work outside of the company.
Many employees have strong emotions about the closing of these shops. Many feel that the outsourcing of these shops will come back to haunt US Airways in the future.
