Boeing says 777X delayed (who didn't know)

In 3rd Quarter reports, Boeing says first deliveries of 777X, scheduled for Summer, 2020, are delayed until
early 2021. I'm shocked! Shocked I tell you! Round up the usual suspects.

This piece of information found this morning. Singapore Airlines announces that they will receive the first 777X in their order in 2022!!! If I'm not mistaken, Singapore is the launch customer which means they get the first a/c off the assembly line. In just 2 weeks (since 1st post above) the delivery date is pushed back over a year. Will it ever actually, really, for sure, no fingers crossed behind their backs come off the assembly line? And, if it does, will it be obsolete by then?
