Its amazing that people who pay the salaries sure do think alot of these guys..... except a choice few. When will you guys get an education and grow up.

Losing more management is a concern, but the resignations are slowing. Barry Biffle was given a promotion and pay raise, thus his departure is not a surprise.

With that said nobody is irreplaceable and US Airways still has a sufficient and good management team. Is management perfect? No, of course not. Has senior management made mistakes? Absolutely, but so has every other US Airways employee.

This is, in my opinion, an extremely intelligent move on Spirit's part.

1. Spirit announces its intention to use FLL as an LCC gateway to the Carribbean and Latin America.

2. US Airways tries to become an LCC and have a FLL focus city to Caribbean and Latin America.

3. Spirit hires the people who designed US Airways strategy in an attempt to de-rail the attack. Its a lot easier for Spirit to defend its turf against US Airways' encroachment when Spirit hires the designers of US Airways' plan, and likely have a good idea of what the next move is. Brilliant, in my book. Now, let's see if it works out for them.
