............they were voting down the LIFETIME TRAVEL BAN on flight benefits is my guess.

So would I, I commute. Essentially if I voted yes, I'd be voting myself out of a job. (I REFUSE to move (AGAIN) for an airline company!!!)

Management should of given them a sideletter reinstating the benefits and the whole mess would be over!!!
