AVIATION CLAIMS ADJUSTER
Airclaims Inc., the world leader in aviation claims adjusting, is currently seeking a new Claims Surveyor/Adjuster for the Seattle, Washington branch office. Together with our main office, located in Miami, Florida, Airclaims Inc. provides a variety of technical services throughout North and South America, for Aviation Insurers.
Qualifications include current A&P license, practical experience in the areas of aviation maintenance, repair, inspection and or evaluation on a variety of narrow and wide body commercial and corporate aircraft. In addition, applicant should possess good general knowledge of all aspects of the commercial aviation industry. Positions held may include Field Service Technician, Engineering, QA, Customer Service Representative, Base and or Line Maintenance Technician.
Applicant must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively and professionally negotiate with claimants, Insureds, Attorneys, etc. An aviation claims adjuster requires the analytical ability to interpret, and evaluate relevant information essential to resolving claims. Good organizational skills and attention to detail are also necessary.
Responsibilities include investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and making settlement recommendations for aviation related property damage, and aircraft hull / liability claims in a timely and efficient manner. Position involves frequent travel in the domestic United States and occasional overseas travel.
