AT transition aircraft to come on line 30th april 12.

737

I still think we will get rid of all 717s before any transition.
While it is assured the 17s are going away, the time frame is interesting. ATL Rumor Mill is thriving that Delta will be buying them. Now, if so, do they get the entire fleet all at once or as they can be converted? Considering that WN wants to phase out the classics and replace with 800s, will they just drop the 717 routes and basically shut down a major portion of the FL flights?
I can't see this happening but I am not the one to make that decision.

I believe that if they do go to Delta, they will be sold in stages that will minimize operational disruptions in our flight schedule and help Delta with a phased aircraft replacement schedule.

A win-win for both.
