 I beg your pardon!!! "MCI not worth much???" $200,000,000, in renovations! FIVE YEARS in "FREE" rent!!!! And more!!!! How much will it cost AA for rent alone on AFW over that same FIVE YEARS????? :down:Wretched Wrench said:Tulsa is safe. MCI is not worth much. AFW is worth a lot on the market.
AFW is a state of the art facility. It is near headquarters. AA pays about $45 million a year in rent. AFW is worth $100 million a year. Boeing is interested in AFW and so are two other airlines or airline maintenance companies. $45 million may seem a big chunk of cash, but it's worth more than that. Lets just say that AFW is an investment into the future for American Airlines. AFW is not going anywhere and neither is Tulsa. So IF a base closure should occur, you figure out which one it will be.MCI transplant said::huh: I beg your pardon!!! "MCI not worth much???" $200,000,000, in renovations!
