So Einstein, explain why Bob Owens was removed as Treasurer!
Since the TWU cited the posts by Bob Owens as the main reason for his removal. Who's to say ordinary members can't be subject to the same tactics of the TWU.
MCITRANSPLANT, if you are an original TWAer, I don't understand your allegiance to the TWU.
Don't youthink it's ironic that all of a sudden the TWU is taking ACTION against certain officials RIGHT AFTER THE IAM LOST THE MECHANICS AT UAL?

Is it "mainly because of his over 1200 posts on this board" or is it because he as an elected official has lost his "member in good standing" staus. Would any organization allow an elected official continue to serve if he is trying to undermine that organization. Lets be real here. I seriously doubt it is solely bec he posts on this board. Problem is they are doing it on company time.
Personally I would value loyalty to those who elected me. If it became too difficult then I would resign and carry on the fight from there.

Hopeful---If you haven't fgured it out yet, I guess I'll have to spell it out for you! As for myself, and a whole lot of other AMT's here at MCI, we will not be here in five years! Our Contract is in place no matter what Union is in power! Most of us will not see another contract! You've already given away the Candy Store! And that's it for us! End of Story! Why hasn't the AMFA got more cards from MCI? Because it won't, or can't, change anything! So why don't we support the TWU? Well,that's a no brainer!
