What are the chances of AMR placing AA aircraft (i.e MD80) on the DCA-LGA-BOS 'shuttle' routes? Not every single flight, but maybe some of the 'peak' times. It is a short flight and the RJ is not bad, but lately (i.e. this year) the Eagle RJ's have been pretty full. At least the flights that I've been on. This sure is a good contrast to a couple years ago when there were a dozen or so passengers onboard.

I would assume it's because of slot restrictions.

Would it be so bad to use Delta or US Airways? I would rather fly on a MD80 or A320 than an RJ any day.
