This morning I Google'd: amr bankruptcy docket
Results provide interesting information, such as the AMR Bankruptcy site listing Rothschild Inc. as "Proposed Financial Advisors":
http://www.amrcaseinfo.com/info.php
(Remember, in the UAL filings, "First Day Orders" were actually drafted by UAL attorneys)
A most interesting field of information comes from an analysis as found on the following weblog; "Distressed Debt Investing"
http://www.distressed-debt-investing.com/2011/11/distressed-debt-news-research-amr.html
and, links to the affidavit filed by AMR , as well as details on how the company may continue financing and shed specific aircraft in an "accelerated fleet renewal program".
Our careers are now in two phases- before and after bk. You might be better off riding this out, but there has never been a more opportune time for many at AA to look elsewhere for employment. I would caution waiting until the court rules on the disposition of our pension plans before taking an exit strategy - unless of course you find a better opportunity.
