Six week old story. I think it was discussed when it was "news." A website says that AA's brand is "damaged." Yawn. So I guess when Doug Parker takes over, the airline will be called US Airways, a very valuable brand that's never been "damaged." 😀

AA does not wants to be an MRO. They just want to pay their mechanics MRO wages.

AA is talking about a lot outsourcing. Well with all the outsourcing wouldn't this free up hangar space?

Do you think AA will fill that space with third party work?

If not then they really do not want to be a world class MRO.

But if they do they will need more mechanics. And if they want to have a true 24/7 hour base they will need a lot more mechanics.

Do the want to be an MRO or don't they?
