Yup, it closed down with the hub operation. Originally they had told us that they would keep it open, but then went ahead and closed it due to "lack of demand." When you have only four A320s in and out of a station a day, is it really that hard to predict that demand will be significantly less than before?
The space, as mentioned, does remain vacant. America West continues to hold onto the lease for all their gates and facilities in CMH, including the club, so the airport cannot do anything with it until the lease runs out at the end of this year.
