NOTICE: Rant follows!

Is anyone else as tired as I am of just about every newspaper requiring registration. I am not so much concerned about privacy as I am anoyed at having to reset cookies settings (or switch browsers) every time I go to the paper's website. OK, I can understand that a paper like the FT might want its online readers to register. It's a paper that many people probably read on a regular basis.

But I do get peeved when I have to register to read one article in some podunk newspaper that I am unlikely to read again. Of course, I do have fun telling the website in question that I am an 80 year old woman living in Finland.

It's still an anoying trend.
