I understand the ALPA MEC passed a resolution early this afternoon charging the MEC Officers and Negotiating Committee with engaging senior management to present the "transformation plan."

In addition, the Labor Coalition has scheduled a meeting for Thursday, January 22.

Give that man a cigar, since his statement pretty much sums up any motivation the U ALPA MEC might have to take any further action.

The problem is that the actual "Young" were consumed by U ALPA thru the 1990s and early part of this decade. The current "Young," while junior in seniority, are not exactly young in the age sense of the word.
