AirTran Airways Starts Daily Nonstop Flights Between Milwaukee and Baltimore/Washington

Sure, everyone seems to be waiting for Midwest''s demise in MKE, but I think the BWI end of this might be as interesting.

What''s AirTran''s long-term plan for BWI? It''s a Southwest hub, so conventional wisdom would say that no one else can thrive there, but AirTran has carved out a nice little niche for itself -- BOS, ROC, Florida, FPO, now MKE.

Is the strategy to serve cities that Southwest doesn''t and likely won''t? Will BWI become an third AirTran hub?
