AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today announced its flight schedule for new, daily nonstop service from Westchester County Airport in White Plains, N.Y., to Atlanta, Orlando, and West Palm Beach. Fla. The new service will begin April 4, 2006, on the airline's popular Boeing 717, one of the industry's quietest aircraft.

"Both business and leisure travelers from the tri-state area will appreciate the convenient schedules of these AirTran Airways flights with nonstop service to three destinations and convenient connections to more than 35 other cities," said Kevin Healy, AirTran Airways' vice president of planning. "We're excited to be adding Westchester County to our growing network and believe people will appreciate our new airplanes, low fares and high quality of service, including Business Class and XM Satellite Radio on every flight."

IND will now see nonstop service to LAX and SFO on AAI. I like how AAI is just filling in some of the gaps that ATA has left. Good job. just my thoughts........
