Earlier today jcw posted this article on the DL board:
http://aviationweek.com/reality-check/opinion-air-france-may-be-running-out-chances
Unfortunately, a certain DL fankid / cheerleader cried 'blasphemy' as it apparently is sacrilege to post anything about even slightly negative about DL or its subsidiaries or partners. Especially on the sacred DL forum. (Interestingly, that same person did not comment on idolatry ....)
So I've taken the liberty to re-post the article here.
Also as I commented on the article before - it is interesting that i) it has taken this long for KL to regret the AF merger and ii) I was a little amazed as to how far AF has fallen - to #3 of the big 3 "flag carriers" (flag carriers - LH, IAG, AFKL) in Europe.
Moreover, we have been hearing the message that if a carrier is #3 in a given market, it is doomed (strategically backed into a corner):
Any thoughts / comments?

WorldTraveler said:AA is still 3 of 3 on TATL and TPAC
Yes AA is strategically backed into a corner
Any thoughts / comments?
