This company makes simulators used by the Russian military (Ka-50) and the Air National Guard (A-10C) to train their pilots. These are as real as it gets without climbing into the actual aircraft.
(Free Demo Link At The Bottom Of The Post)

They are very advanced. If you have an interest in flight sims check them out.

They have "sim lite" meaning not as complicated (these are called FC3 level aircraft the rest are called DCS level aircraft and use full switchology) for users that just want to play but not learn a complicated sim.

They have many more airframes on the horizon spanning multiple years.

The sim offers single player and online multiplayer. It is a trip going into battle with 4 helicopters trading target information through avionics and coordinating attacks through speech.

They use TrackIR which is a technology that literally lets you use your head to look around the cockpit and scan for targets.

An example of TrackIR in the KA-50 cockpit.

An example of TrackIR in the A-10C startup and flight (please note the user had "tag" options turned on that is why you are seeing blue text on the other vehicles)

Did you purchase the FS2020?
What do you think?
I have not bought it as of yet. I am waiting for them to support rotary aircraft which is what I fly in DCS 90% of the time. I am also hoping they implement VR. I can tell you playing DCS in VR literally puts you inside of the cockpit. You feel like you are actually sitting in the aircraft instead of just looking at an image of one on a monitor.

If you are interested or have any questions about FS2020 I can ask around for you and get some first hand information.
Thanks!
I pre-ordered FS2020 as I have been an avid user of the MSFS platform since conception.
For sure, it is a resource hog, but the reality and graphics are better at realism.
I used the MSFS platform to better understand Avionics, Navigation and basic flight.
Now, glass cockpits (flight deck ;-0 ) are better than ever.
When I get to know it better, I'll post on this thread.
Take Care,
B) xUT
