Abe Gets The Sf-340a

Well as of Feb 8th, the ABE station is receiving two SF-340A both to Pit. One is at 930a and the other is a 605p. Both of these are currently Dash-8s and both do very well. I cant wait until the PAX stop US to Pit because as I understand it that the S-340A is severly weight restricted. As usual the company continues to lose customers!

You're correct-the Saab 340A's are quite weight restricted.The "B's" less so. Gotta question the rationale of downgrading equipment on a well performing flight.

Maybe "Dave" and his band of thieves are secretly working for the likes of Jet Blue and Southwest judging by the recent marketing stragety. "Lets shrink the aircraft and force the customer to drive to PHL or fly the competition"

All of the PHL flights ( I think about 10) are still all DASHs but I was really surprised that they would yank a SF-340A let alone two but oh well! By the way, does anyone or could anyone give me info on how Shuttle America operates because that is who we are going to have? Also is this scenario a possible: Will the W/O get the D-328 from PSA? We've had training on this week and I am curious to know.

Your obviously clueless. PSA is one of the three W/O. The D328's are going back to the bank, 2 per month. The remaining W/O are not getting the D328's.

ABE is becoming more and more attractive as a JetBlue 'alternative' airport to PHL, much like SNA is to LAX. Not that I'm comparing PHL and LAX. But there has been a HUGE population surge in that region of PA, and forecasts are for continued growth.
