This is an outrage! Perfect timing too, and right before the Pilot vote. But, why would the top execs want a NO vote from them?? Surely lots of them are at retirement age. Didn't the last proposal from the co. include pilot retiree medical? OK, so they make an offer, then sue to remove that offer. Makes sense to you?

Yepper .... The elite class (CEO's & Senators), with unlimited funds will be able to buy access to the best healthcare on earth. While the rest of us get Obama care .... One size fits all, doesn't matter if you worked 40 years or drew welfare for 40 years. Look for doctor shortages, long waits for treatment, and lots of procedures not covered? Where do we sign up?

I suspect many of these Obama Care supporters waiting in line at the Dr office behind Illeagal immagrants, or life long welfare recipients - only to find out that the drug or service they need is not available, because the system is exhausted - will be wanting a do over.

This is the airline and its management who desire to be a successful business. Yet, they blatently berate their employees through contract proposals and negotiations. Now they want to make block their employees and shield themselves from any benefit that would help us and our families. these negotiations show me how much this company really does not care about us and our future. My answer is take it the judge! I have had enough of the company bull ####! lets dance!

Retirees at US lost theirs years ago as well. If your pension ends up with the PBGC, there is a program in place to cover a percentage of your medical premiums if you are under 65.

Sadly, this is what's going on in this country. I talk to family and friends about medical and pension from time to time. Some of their medical plans more resemble the changes the company wants to make. As for pensions.....401k for everyone!

Airline workers no longer have the exclusive on the screwing going on in this country.
Spoke to a buddy at Con Ed...Seems they too are beginning the path to having employees bear most of the medical and retirement burden.

War has been declared against the workers of this country and we all stand by idle watching corporate america seperate us into a 2 class system.....the rich and the poor ! We are heading towards the days of 7 day work week, no benefits, work till you are not fit, and then die in poverty.

Yes sir that's exactly where were heading & were heading there fast which is why I want at least one more decent contract where I can make enough money to get out before it all goes to hell, of course I won't be able to get out fast enough because it's going to start happening this year.
