Oneworld missed the boat, they are the stepsister alliance, skyteam and star are about a decade ahead of ya, arpey isn't sticking to his "boutique " alliance rhetoric.

You could not be more wrong. You need to look not only at size but quality. BA, CX and QF are among the best international carriers in the world. With anchors at LHR, HKG, SYD, NRT, AMM, India, etc. they have the globe very well covered.

I've always thought of SkyTeam as the odd man out. I guess any alliance that includes Aeroflot will do that to my perception.
