A few new (or renewed) routes

good for each of these cities... is this MSN's first DL/NW service nonstop to a destination west of MSP?

I suspect we will see a few more new routes in the coming weeks as well.

FLL - MEX flight starts in July (Boeing 737-700). I hope that it has good loads with yield. Wish us luck.

remember that DL owns equity in AM and has been very pleased with its performance in Mexico.

DL and Gol (in which DL also owns equity) also just announced plans to offer Skyteam-like frequent flyer and lounge benefits even though Gol is not part of Skyteam.

LAX-LAS is up to a mix of half mainline and half CR9s which I believe is the largest mainline presence DL has had in LAX-LAS for years.

airline route lists several routes at LAX where DL is expanding including OAK, SJC, SMF, and LAS in addition to the previously announced upgauges to JFK and the new BNA service.

and additional redeye flights JFK to SDQ, SJU, and STI, mirroring schedules offered by B6.

and now, the DOT has approved SEA-HND giving DL 5 flights/day to east Asia from each of DTW and SEA, although the number of seats from SEA is about 20% less due to greater use of the 767.

Based on seats offered, UA's SFO hub will remain the largest single carrier gateway to Asia at about twice the size of DL at SEA.
However, DL's DTW hub is still the 2nd largest US carrier gateway to Asia, about 50% larger than UA at both EWR and ORD which are about the same size.

and NRT-ICN bites the dust; DL and NW's performance from NRT to northern Asia has always been weak due to lower yield connecting traffic. KE serves ICN nonstop from most DL NRT gateways in the US. Increased flights from alternate airports in Seoul and Tokyo don't help.

I didn't see where BNA came in. Is it BNA-LAX?

yes... surprisingly announced after AA announced RDU-LAX. RDU-LAX was going to be a direct operating cost evening flight from RDU w/ a redeye return. They retimed it and added BNA-LAX so both flights essentially use one 737.

looks like some of DL's recent additions at LAX might be Valentine's messages to AS asking for a little bit more fidelity.

LAX-ANC is added for the summer on weekends as well as LAX-GEG daily for the summer.

Two of three recently added flights on LAX-SEA have been upgraded to DL mainline - 1 757 and 1 738.
