Why not the government? They seemed to have known that something big was about to happen yet the FBI and CIA sat on their lazy behinds and did not make changes to security arrangements with the airlines and other possiable targets. By the way was it true that box cutters were allowed on the plane pre 9/11?

Yes, but September 11 would have happened and turned out just the same even if boxcutters and pocketknives had been prohibited.
 
Hmm darn trial lawyers, why should the airlines or the government be responsible for the actions of a few terrorist that day. People on the ground where in the wrong place wrong time. Money hungry grabbing families.
