Friend sent me these pics of 908 that he was taking to OGG yesterday, looks really nice... new interior, and winglets. Saw it myself parked @ A27 in phx this morning on taxi in.

Uh Oh...now Corporate will be busting that FA for being on the Cellphone while "woikin" ;)

I'm glad to know that Skooter has finally the balls and common sense to install Winglets on the 757s out West.

NICE!!! Good to see they are putting some money in the West fleet. I thought they said that the West 57's could not do the winglets? The interior is pretty nice, I flew on a West AB yesterday (A/C 663) and it had the new leather seat covers and carpeting, really toned down the cabin from those dirty looking turquoise covers. Nice pics though, thanks.

Aircraft 908, 909, and 910 are the only former HP B757s that are capable of haivng winglets installed due to the structural design of the wing.

What a waste. Those planes are just going to crumble one day, PROBABLY when I'm in the bin.

I'll be stuck there to eat pineapple until I'm rescued.

Inside looks nice though. I might actually try to go to OGG now!

That's a big deal, as the rest of the planes look like an inner city apartment complex.

Come on now...that's not a new interior. If it were a new interior, there would be deeper overhead bins installed and those CRT-monitors hanging in the aisles would be replaced by LCD dropdown screens.

Looks to me like some new carpet, new seat covers (no new padding, most likely), and a brand new set of winglets.

It is an IMPROVEMENT and I like it. Nuff said.

Why would Pheonix get "sold off?"

Pretty large city to just sell off.

United has LAX and SFO there is no need for PHX thats why we are still separate and the pilots are making impossible to merge and United Pilots have it in there contract "Date of Hire" were hp get this whatever is beyond anyone and now they will pay the price.
