Is it true AA just finished an audit with AAR in OAK city and the 737's will be outsourced starting Monday?I wonder if you boys down their will raise as much hell when this non union shop does your work?Well then again we just pay dues don't we.Should of voted AMFA.

Not only that but AMR is supposed to be getting ahold of Boeing to stop the delivery of the other 20 737's that were to be delivered by the end of the year! Also Eagle won't be getting the Embraer either! But after all of the mechanics are layedoff then someone will have to do the work-thanks jim little and the twu!

Don't have any info on the "737 outsourcing" issue, but it is true that AA is discussing what to do about the 47 738 deliveries scheduled to begin in 2006 thru 2010. Most assume that they will be canceled. Boeing was downgraded on the news. Here's just one link confirming it:

If AA gets the China designation to PVG then it's safe to say that the nine 777s on order will be delivered on schedule, given the other new NGO and resumed KIX service.

I was told that the 737's that AAR is performing maintenance on belong to the military and we are getting the engine work?????
