I laugh when someone finds B/I in the front yard and keeps it in the freezer.....
Must have some kind of mystical properties......
Just thinking about someone actually putting blue ice in their frezzer triggers the old gag reflex. Touching it is bad enough. Next to fuel system work my least favorite job.
Used to overhaul the tank valves/pump motors on occasion......even after weeks in disinfectant....yuuck.
Ok. So can someone explain how this happens in lay mans terms. I know there is a valve that they hook. A truck up to. I have seen that when I have flown. But how does that much escape the plane? Are we just talking about a leak that accumulates and freezes at altitude and then breaks off when it gets caught in the slip stream?
Well if its just leaking at least its not going to be "chunky" blue ice.
I bet the people in charge if Airforce One are not to pleased with who ever was incharve of the blue stuff.
