Today, the Company announced plans to hire new pilots in the August-September 2007 timeframe. Part of this new hire process will be the recruitment of Interview Captains. Information about these Interview Captain positions will be posted on SkyNet.

What UAL is not saying is why they have to hire more pilots, fact is many pilots on furlough have decided they will not be returning to UA because of the horrible pay and working conditions. Those of you considering employement with UA, I would strongly suggest you consider it very carefully, it is not worth it. Look instead to Fedex or Luv. 98% of the Pilots working for UA would rather be doing something else, futhermore the CEO of UA is hell bent on a merger, as a new hire your prospects in a merger would be bleak. Good Luck otherwse

Not to worry, if the industry cannot find educated and qualified USA pilots, they will declare that we need ‘Guest Workers’ to do the job that “Americansâ€￾ do not want.
