The move to the UPS forum is not up for discussion or dispute. The information relates to UPS. This is where it will remain. Under board rules, a public challenge to moderator actions results in an automatic 14-day suspension. If you are unfamiliar with the rules, it is suggested that you read them. They are posted at the top of the US Airways forum.

UPS CONTRACT HIGHLIGHTS; Just wanted to give you guys a little more info on contract comparos. What ever you guys do, don't ever forgo retro pay. Our negotiaters screwed that up on our last contract. This only helps the co. to extend the contract signing as long as possible. Also always get the signing bonus. All payrates listed below are as of Aug. 16, 2012 date of contract.
Mech- 43.89, Insp.- 46.21, Ld Insp.- 48.52 All day shift
Mech- 44.45, Insp.- 46.77, Ld Insp.- 49.08 All Eves shift
Mech- 44.52, Insp.- 47.40, Ld Insp.- 49.71 All Graveyard shift also gets paid lunch as well
We were just offered another 2% to add to our 401K match by the co. bring the total to 9.3% Dollar for Dollar. The reason for this is to bring us in line with the pilots and F/A's. Good luck to you guys, really hope you guys are the first ones to break the 100K level, $48.07 tot...
I assume you already know about our proffit sharing-HOWEVER- this is not guarenteed compensation, it was 5.7% this last year. Tot co. comp towards retirement is about 12.5% as high as 14.5%.
You guys should have all the numbers when comparing contracts. As posted above, as written by the company (UPS) it doesn't include all the numbers. Now I do understand that they did not know about the extra 2% currently being offered by our co., as this just came out within the last month or so. Post updates please...
