Most of us are far more concerned about the Super Market then we are the Stock Market and unfortunately, like the stock market it's up too. It's called Commodity inflation brought on by the Federal Reserve Monetary Policies. That you can't lay at Obama;s feet. The staggering debt? YES. Fed policy? NO!

If war breaks out in the middle east that prediction could come true. According to Paneta, Israel will eliminate Iran's nuclear facilities this spring absent a change of heart by the Iranians, and that could be the trigger. Y'all do know that 25% of the world's oil supply passes through the Strait of Hormuz.

Yes sir...and for the first time in history, 3 carrier task force groups will be deployed in the Gulf.

Must be one hell of a liberty port there, right?

I would be very surprised if Israel goes anywhere near Iran much less before the elections. No idea if it would be good or bad for Obama but I am pretty sure no one wants an all out war in the ME which is what I think will happen if Israel launches a preemptive. The US would have to get involved, the rest of the ME would have to take Irans side because the alternative is to side with the Jews and we all know that is not going to happen even though a few of the countries leaders would probably prefer to be on the winning side. Europe would be forced to join in and they will join in with Israel and the US because they don't want to be on the side of the Arabs who they cannot trust.

It would be a huge cluster screw that would make Iraq and Afghan look like a preschool scrap. Iran is a very mountainous region. Air strikes will not win it. Boots will have to put on the ground and unlike Iraq, Iran has a pretty well trained military. They have the home court advantage and they have an entire nation of people who don't like Amadinderjacket but they like us, all o us a lot less. Short of using nukes which I doubt will happen unless Iran or someone else uses them first, it would be a long drawn out war with no end in sight.

I hope Israel and the US are smart enough not to do anything stupid but these are politicians involved. Most of the idiots in the US have never seen combat and have no skin in the game (think Cheney and Bush) so they are more likely to be stupid and go in with out a plan. The Israelis have been doing this for along time and I would bet pennies to dollars that they are just making Iran sweat, if only a little. Is Israel really crazy enough to do this? Entebbe? Iraq 1981? Hmmmm. They might or they might not. Do we feel lucky?

Just Curious what regiment was Barack assigned to? Oh wait he wasn't. Now then ask who of the candidates today actually served? I didn't and I've explained why.

My ancestors all served and served proudly. Grand dad was with Pershing. Uncle was 3rd Army Corp, 90th Infantry Division, 357th Infantry Battalion under the command of General George Patton. Dad was Company B, 1st Ordnance Training Regiment later assigned to the Army of Occupation in Yokohama, Japan.

Opps my bad, where was it Obama served? Did he fly in the Air National Guard like Bush? Oh wait he was yet another piss ant college kid like Newt, Rick and Mitt.

As a matter of fact, what's the Obama admin military service record by the way?

Israel will go in......we wouldn't be putting 3 flat tops in the gulf if it wasn't going to hit the fan.

Don't believe what you hear in the news media regarding Israel and US intentions.

You should pay attention to Turkey and the Saud's and what is going to go down with this ME move towards an Islamic Caliphate.....it is coming sooner rather than later.

Then a large portion of the worlds oil supply could be not sold to the US and there won't be much we can do about it, aside from drill baby drill which you and I can sit around and wait for 13 years.

If that happens, the US will not be able to defend the Strait for very long.

Have a nice day.
