What is with the old livery?

I swear I still see stock footage of the old livery and Dash 8's from time to time on local "news"
What part of "binding" do you not understand?

Can you please educate yourself on this merger? No one is "taking over."

Financing for this venture is being raised from a plethora of sources from Air Canada to Air Wisconson and many others.

Most USAirways employees would tell you having Al Crellin on  the dance card does not bode well for the future.

Best wishes  to the selected team members. Hopefully, they will be able to make the merged carrier a worthy competitor going forward, in spite of fuel prices.
They certainly have competitive labor costs and work rules, finally. The rest is up to them.

Only Glass is more despised than Crellin. HP may wish to rethink naming Crellin to any position of authority. PHL baggage fiasco occured while Uncle AL was on the job....

How did they pick the team? Did they vote for that? Just wondering.

"No, Jerry. Paper covers rock. Ah, shoot, let's just go back to 'One Potatoe, Two Potatoe..." :D
If you want more than Kirby, you must demand better than Cleary

What is the true and accurate story about Mr. Crellin? Due to his position, I wouldn't expect anyone in Labor to have anything nice to say but am hoping someone has some intelligent comments about the man.

"...but am hoping someone has some intelligent comments about the man."

What you mean to say is ...some nice things to say about the man.

What you have to realize is that the US Airways employees are like battered animals. We've been beaten down and whipsawed and abused for so long (15 years at least) by so many inept managers that we can't imagine anybody in management being out for anyone but themselves. You won't get kind comments about anybody in our management (except maybe Jim Schear) from anyone here.
I'm hoping and praying that Doug Parker will be different, we'll see.

On the bright side I had several AWA folks onboard my airplane who were inspecting facilities. I was VERY impressed with them. They seemed to actually want to run an airline. AND they weren't in suits- Khakis and golf shirts, I love it!
The future? If so- count me in.

Excuse me but are you saying that anyone who is hourly by definition must hate management? Well you are wrong. I have praised Doug very publiclly, and have said good things about other management folks.
Make that ex hp_fa.
